B bought me flowers after 2 years together HEHEHE! I'm so happy. He surprised me yesterday in school. Contemplated whether or not to watch underworld in the end we did. He like it, I hate it but well at least one of us enjoyed it. Then he brought me to a ramen restaurant at madrine gallery that he had been raving about. Surprisingly it wasn't that expensive. And now I'm craving for ramen AGAIN! Can never get enough of ramen.

I think my bad habbit is speed reading because I don't like to read! And thus, my standard of English isn't that good so from now on I must start having a good habit to read. Anyway last week I went to a gallery called dreams and reality, surprisingly there were many Singaporeans who were interested. So who say Singaporeans are not interested in art as a whole or do not accept the art culture?!

Well the paintings were awesome but I wish I could bring home some to analyze more like how we do it in ccs. There were a lot of people and it wasn't peaceful. Loads of kids screaming and people posing infront of the painting which frustrates me the most. So I decided to take some pictures for those of you who didnt manage to go and also for me to reflect on the paintings. And yes I did see starry starry night. But people keep crowded around it so I couldn't really see but it wasn't THAT beautiful. I guess people crowd around because it's famous not because they like the painting. Well same goes for the Mona liza painting . Oh well, humans will humans . That's all for today, I'm up and ready to conquer my homework.

It felt like I had done 1001 things yesterday. I had to rush to the print shop early in the morning around 10 because I was worried that the same incident will happen again. People had asked me why don't I go to another print shop? Well the reason is because other print shops are way more expensive and second most of them do not do their work well because they want more business. And another thing is that they are very unfriendly. Yeap. Im glad what had to be done is done and I'm glad I need not worry over a Sunday morning.

Had the best pancakes in town with my best friend last thursday, yup I know its late but well good things will have to wait right? So here is the super yummy post for all of you. I am still suprise that something sweet and saltish can come together I remember my first time when I saw garlic prawns with butter in the menue I freaked out quite a bit. But well now I know its the best combo ever. However I got the customized pancakes because the garlic butter prawns comes with 3 pancakes which I know I wouldn't be able to finnish it. Still satisfied with the bacon and scrambled eggs.

After Lunch we walked down to cineleisure and we saw this gorgeous shoe at editors market. We are not really a fan of editors market however this shoe caught both of our eyes unfortunately it wasn't either of our size. And if I'm not wrong it was $49. Totally worth the price.

Today was a pretty disappointing day because I was suppose to have clay modelling lesson in the afternoon but my lecturer was on mc. It made me so mad because my bag was so heavy because of all the claymodelling stuff in it. But well at least I took many photos during GM lesson. For now I shall continue watching the incredibles while doing my work. BYE!

First day, room packed food cooked and all ready for the new year. Well my families reunion dinner is normally only among the for of us, my dad mum sister and me thats the reason for the small portion of food. Anyway we are not big eaters at least I didn't have brandon or a brother at home if not all the food will be cleared in 15 minutes. I really like my mum's marmalade chicken its the best roasted chicken I have ever tasted. MMMM I wish I can have it in my mouth now
Day 2: not your very ordinary chinese new year food, well I'm glad that my mum cooks really well and majority of the people who came to my house told my mum that her cooking is really good. Happy for you Mummy!Went to Brandons house in the evening, it was better than last years CNY because I played. And today is day 3. Not happening at all wished that CNY holiday would be longer, almost half of the school were missing and some classes only had 5 people who attended class. My first time stepping into a indian restaurant. What's worse its a Curry restaurant (muthu curry) but what to do I just had to follow my friends because majority of them wanted to eat curry. I must say the food there was surprisingly good especially the papadum. The awesome thing was that it was free flow of papadum. So I was happily munching away. Oh and I still can't taste good curry or bad curry I find all of them are all the same. Happy chinese new year! I got to go BYEBYE!

On other occasions I will take that item immediately and purchase it. Like my black hat that I you always see me wearing. And I never regret buying it. This is going to be a super long post, there will be more when Ethel upload the photos. So I went out with my girlies: Ethel, Karen and Kristin to USS. LIKE FINALLY! The first ride we went was Transformers. The queue was short. Like really short. We only waited for like 10-15 minute before we took the ride. And I tell you IT IS SUPER AWESOME! Failed attempt to overcome my fears of roller coaster, now I'm even more scared! Ethel and Kristin even took the blue roller coaster. HUMONGOUS PIZZA that made me super full, I ate 3/4 of my one slice pizza. Must be the sprite that I was sipping while eating.$10 for a turkey leg, NAH! My first 4D movie it really felt so real, unlike those 3D movies you watch in the cinema. Worth waiting.Don't look down on this kids roller coaster it is SUPER SCARY even Ethel said that it was good. Good in the sense that she found it thrilling, thus I have the right to say it was scary ^^The ride (Canopy flyer) was a waste of time. Nothing interesting, we waited for 1hr (the longest that we had ever waited) It was scary ( FINE! All the rides to be was scary but this felt mmmm boring?) Good if there isn't any queue though.We went back to ride the mummy and transformers again (my 2 favorite rides) Thank God we went to ride transformers the last because it was having some technical difficulties which caused us to wait for quite sometime, but well it was worth it.The sky was dark when we were done with the transformer ride we went to "window shopping" Had gelatos from GELATO di BRUNO it tasted so good. Now I need to find the same shop outside of Sentosa. All the flavors from there taste awesome. Perfect to end of a day.I'm having post USS syndrome. Oh good times. Love how all the photos turned out. Now I know why people didn't take photos inside the rides because they have to put their bags in the lockers. What a pity, the internal part of the rides looks the best! Well the most important thing when going to USS is to travel light, if possible do not bring any bags. And if you have a pocket that can zip/ can secure using Velcro that will save you a lot of time and you wouldn't need to worry about your phone flying out of your pockets.

I am having a love hate relationship with this metal cuff, I love it for making my simple outfit look mmm... better. Loving the imperfect shots the blurness and the colour that makes the image stand out more. Instead of the perfect and crisp image. Can't imagine myself crying over my lens when I realized that it is infected with fungus. Now I enjoy taking photos manually. I braved through the Singapore weather wearing a turtle neck, well it isn't that bad. I wasn't sweating all over. Wouldn't mind wearing a turtle neck to school because school is always so cold! Can't imagine that the school holidays has passed so quickly, it seemed so long yet so short. Somehow I wished it was a little longer. But well, life has to go on. Didn't start my 2012 as planned. The plan was to go to marina barrage to countdown but apparently it was changed so in the end I went home to sleep through the new year. Come to think about it, all my new year celebration are always so boring, so 2012 isn't spared. Argh I don't want to think about it anymore, it makes me even more mad.I didn't take any photos yesterday because I was so busy and excited for the countdown.

Since I work up early here is my outfit of the day. I haven't been wearing jeans for a very long time and whenever I wear this pair of Cheap Monday jeans I sure do get a lot of stares. Well, I don't really bother about people starring I take it as a compliment instead of being angry about it. Its better to be happy than to be angry at something that is not worth being angry about. UNLESS, the person gives me those creepy stare or non stop starring but then I will be more scared than angry. HAHA.

Didn't take many photos yesterday because it was raining super heavily. B and I were suppose to do a little christmas shopping for ourself before going to church. Oh if you are wondering about the cookies, it kinda failed. It looks crappy but tasted good. Wasted my $30 :C

I think I follow my mum footstep because she can't bake but she is an awesome cook. Not that I'm saying that I'm an awesome cook but I'm better than cooking than baking. Maybe because I don't really like sweet, except some.

After buying the main ingredients for the Christmas cookies B and I went to Haji lane. Took more photos than the last time I went there because I was more daring to take photos, I guess and also I am using the live view to shoot, the only bad thing about using the live view for my camera it's that I have to use manual focus. Well it does give a certain effect when the photo isn't totally clear.

After the long stroll at Haji lane, we went to peninsula to look at cameras and OH MY they sure do have a lot of SLR's and vintage stuff there. And I spotted a bubblegum pink ukulele really very pretty.

Art science museum to see the swirling Christmas tree, But what a pity they didn't on the lights so in the end it looked like a swirling jelly fish.

Didn't take many photos yesterday because it was raining, but well at least I had fun.

I met brandon late because I was busy watching cupcake girls (something like cake boss, but cupcake version) and I think Brandon was angry at me. But, even if I was early, it would be boring. Oh and I wasted a trip to payalebar OH WHATEVER.

Ate potian at cine, before watching Mission Impossible. Well, about the movie I think a lot of people think that the movie was too long/ draggy, like avatar. People started fidgeting in the middle of the movie which was quite distracting but overall it was a good movie. But do take note it is a 2hrs and 15 min movie. So don't drink too much water before entering the cinema.Here te trailer for Mission Impossible.A lot of action and surprisingly there is quite a lot of comedy in the movie maybe its because Simon Pegg is in the movie.MMM apparently this is a a pretty long post. We (Brandon, Shane, Yvonne, Janice and I ) went to a Japanese Raman restaurant at Orchid hotel, it really felt like we were in Japan. The ambience and everything was very nice. The space area is very small though, it seems like it is only able to accumulate around 20 people. So if you want to go there you better go during the weekdays if not it will be very crowded.The awesome part about this Japanese restaurant is that it is near the mrt station (tanjong pagar) and they have free flow of hard boiled eggs! Like who on earth will give free eggs? Oh yes and also free bailey. The price of the raman isn't that expensive either. Around $15-$20. But think about the free flow of eggs! They even have white eggs ( lower cholesterol eggs ) which I doubt it is cheap. So yes it is very worth the money! I really want to go there again! Hopefully next week. All thanks to Brandon who went hunting for the best Ramen in town. I love you!!! Now we do not need to go to waruku or ajisan for good Japanese food. Okay great, this was suppose to be the longest 2011 post but apparently the internet is ruining my plan. I can't upload the photos or what-so-ever. I will get back to this post as soon as the internet is up.

Didn't know that taking street snaps can be so tough, because I'm scared that someone will scold me for taking their picture, it definitely you have to have ultra good skill to take those photos.

I think, if im not wrong street photography came from Bill Cunningham. Well wonder who the is bill Cunningham? Here is a video of him.

Everyone adores him even Anna wintour. Don't see him as an old man wearing a blue windbreaker all the time he is like the "god" of street photography. He only uses a film camera to take photos. Oh when you watch his biography you will find that he is the most hardworking and humble man in the entire world.

Cupcakes for you?

Went to Cupcake With Love With Ethel since I was wondering how good the cupcake was after reading a review from sarah's loft. Well I must say it is pretty pricey but well it is worth the price. The red velvet cake is really nice and the cream is heavenly, I didn't eat the chocolate though because I don't really fancy chocolate bars, what more chocolate balls. Most customers didn't stay and enjoy their cupcakes which was good, at least ethel and I could talk for hours in the cafe. And zhong wei came for a while to join our afternoon chat. Really miss our secondary school days. Not particularly my class but the people in the school, oh yes and definitely the cheap food.Walked around town and Ethel and I saw abercrombie boys. YAYA don't be jealous. First time seeing so many hot guys at one place. Some people were so daring to take photos with them others were like paparazzi. And pretty much the minority just walked away. Ethel was asking me how do they import so many hot guys into singapore. HAHADidn't take much pictures because we were busy talking and catching up miss Ethel so muchie!Right, time to have some awesome breakfast. BYE!

Went to SAM to see Hyung Koo Kang gallery for the second time before it is going to be taken down.What a pity that it isn't a permanent exhibit. Even Brandon who isn't a fine art lover enjoyed it. So you better go down to SAM before its gone. Did I mention that all the photos, except the last two are taken with my fungus infected lens and they are all manual focus, that is why some photos are alittle blurry and a little dreamy. Well thats what you get when there is fungus in your lens. After visiting the museum, we went to starbucks knowing that its free cup day (its for the salvation army) Obviously we did donate, it was quite amusing how some people can just be so erm kiasu about the free starbucks and not donate, at least donate a dollar or two? More over its for charity.We walked from plaza sing to orchard and its the first time Brandon didn't complain WHOOHOO! Must be because of the caffaine in the java chip frappuccino. Oh and he was super high when he saw the pull and he started walking super fast and talking super fast. A little scary. But well glad that he is happy.
Crapcrap, I forgotten to wrap Shanice present and I'm going to meet her later. Not good not good at all. Got to rush wrapping up her present and then I'm going to meet Ethel for some girly time TEHEE!Can't wait for SAMSAM to be back miss her already. OH WELLSS.

Slept super early because I had a very bad headache, haven't had a headache for a very long tine, thank God mummy made fish macaroni ( the soup base is fish) the pain subsided a little after eating but still painful enough to get me tossing and turning in bed. While I was tossing and turning I was watching popin cooking haha, I know I'm so outdated but it's very addictive to watch especially when you realized that it is EDIBLE! Cool right! But I think if there are more toys like this in the future I will never let my kids play because it will be super messy and also you don't know what chemicals or weird stuff there is in the powder. Even it is edible I will not eat it.

Thinking about how I got my headache is pretty obvious, excessive usage of technology. I have to use my Mac or my phone in majority of the time when I'm awake. Now I need to cut it down. Now I find that using the computer for more than 8 hrs will cause you to die earlier is kinda true. Time to start playing old games like UNO and monopoly during your free tine instead of playing bakery story/ temple run haha.

Sorry for the lengthy post, lately I didn't go out thus my veyr unhappening holiday staying at home watching harry potter from the first series all the way to the last. So today I better get out of my cave. Or else I will be bored to death

HEYHO, one of my holiday's got to do list is to cook/ bake more. Well I think I kinda accomplished it. I'm planning to bake cookies for Christmas, not those ordinary kind but those that have cute decorations on the cookie. Hopefully I will have the patience to do every cookie nicely.Okay now my time to ramble. I have been very angry with the iphone app recently because I can't download any applications. I waited for 3 hours and it still said loading. ARGH I wanted to play my sushi round game because I accidentally deleted it the day before yesterday. So anyway I went back to find the sushi round app but guess what! Now it isn't free anymore *SOBSOB* ARGH so frustrated now my phone is gameless.

I have been researching and finding out more on printmaking since I want to major in that as my specialism under fine art. and I guess after watching this video I became more "into" it. I know fine art has a lot of drawing (which I hate, and have been contemplating whether I should take fine arts because of that) and there are a lot of people in fine arts wo are geniuses in everything. But yupyup finally something to get encouraged and get inspired from. I think the first thing that people think of fine art is oil painting and boring sculptures but hey there is at least something "modern" in fine art haha. By the way andy warhol using print making to do most or if im not wrong all his art pieces. Even Picasso does print making. No wonder they are my favorite artists.Hopefully samsam might ditch fashion and join me in printmaking then I won't be a lonely soul. hehe

Out fit of the day

Thank God my mum didn't complain about my pure black outfit. But well, I'm happy with my new dress and necklace. Cheap and good. Can't wait to do more shopping before school reopens. Though my school is pretty near town most of us never go there for lunch or go there during our 3 hours break. Now 3 hours to us is like 1 hour to a normal person. Everyone will be rushing through assignments doing last minute touch up. HAHA it wasn't fun at all. My current signature is milkmaid hair hahah, in the past it was crazy hair bands, then the turband came along, and then my favorite hat then now milkmaid hair. But to tell you the truth, whenever I wear the turband I get the most stares. Mmmm I don't know why. But well according to my mum, the milkmaid hair is the most "normal".Ah but I don't really bother about what people think, it is good to be different.

As you know I did a quite a lot of shopping after my assessment was over to cure my assessment blues. No more panicking over little stuff like labeling or sticking everything in place. Being late for assessment etc. Now I got to wait for my results to arrive in my letter box. I think I will open my result slip on Christmas.

Can't wait for end of year sales to come, I find thrilling to find cheap and nice stuff okay, it's in my top 5 best feeling list.

Okay I didn't know how much h&m stuff I bought but it's the majority out of my mini loot, and I could still remember telling B that h&m isn't that fantastic. * burry my head * actually it's quite awesome compared to forever 21 an new look. Topshop is comparable to h&m. Just that topshop is way more expensive than h&m ( what a bummer ) but yes, bless to be living in Singapore though I wish Singapore has more thrift stores but mmm never mind. I Must stop complaining and thinking negative.

1. It's very convenient to shop in Singapore.

2. There is only 1 season in Singapore which means we do not need to spend unnecessary money

So yes we must be happier people.

We were suppose to go to a pancake cafe but in the end we were walking in circles. So we dump the idea of going to that cafe and we went to soup spoon instead.
While being lost we found the other side of singapore, the less morden and British colonel buildings were scattered everywhere. Glad that Singapore didn't tear down those buildings because it is part of history. Too much morden architecture sometimes kills my creativity because everything is made up of metal and glass. And the buildings are mainly silver/ grey/ white. The colors that paints the buildings only comes from the lights or the LED screen.
Anyways, I bought a few stuff which I'm super happy about HEHE^^ Still waiting for samsam to upload the photos. We didn't take many photos as compared to our last date. But meh! its okay at least we had fun :D
I'm totally stress and worried for this week because results will be out . And we will know whether we need to re submit and I have been ranting and complaining that I am scared that I need to resubmit because I find that I'm not good enough as compared to the rest of the people who were in the same assessment space as me. *SIGH*

Dislike the monsoon season, it makes things more troublesome. oh ya I gave up the thought of having a an olympus pen epm1 because I find that my DSLR can do a better job however I might get an epl2 or 1 I just need something that can take videos . I rather spend my money on camera lens than a brand new camera that I won't use everyday. Anyway I am not in a rush of getting a new camera, my DSLR is only 1 years old and I promise my dad that I will use it for 4 years HAHAHAHAH!okay I got to do work now BYEBYE!
